Our Initiatives
Contship x Okapia
In collaboration with Okapia and Kigali Caritas, Contship supports a group of 30 Rwandan women in Kigali on their journey to economic independence through microcredit and dedicated training. Participating in the “Home Street Home” project, Contship will help fund the start-up of these women’s businesses, offering them a real opportunity to change their lives.

Contship x Fondazione Libellula
Contship joins Fondazione Libellula, marking a concrete step within the Moves That Matter sustainability strategy. Through this collaboration, we aim to contribute to awareness-raising and training on gender equality, strengthening our commitment to creating a workplace that values diversity while also contributing to the creation of social value.
The Climate Fresk
Contship rolled out the mandatory “Climate Fresk” course for all decision-makers across the Group. This collaborative workshop translates the complex scientific findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change into a clear and structured understanding of the systemic causes, operational consequences, and global solutions to the climate crisis.
SicuraMente
Contship strengthens its safety culture in the port: through the “SicuraMente” project >300 people will take part in a two-year programme focused on awareness, safe behaviours and decision-making, with the aim of making safety an integral part of the way we work every day.
Supporting customers in their decarbonisation journey
Decarbonizing the value chain depends on accurate data, alternative transportation solutions, and precise measurement of environmental performance.
For this reason, Contship is expanding its services to help customers identify and capitalize on concrete opportunities to reduce emissions through low-carbon transportation solutions, advanced reporting tools, and data analysis.
