Contship Italia Group would like to express its deepest condolences on the loss of Mr YC Chang, Chairman Emeritus of Pacific International Lines (PIL), Singapore.
We were greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Mr YC Chang, Chairman Emeritus of Pacific International Lines (PIL), Singapore.
We wish to extend to his son SS Teo and the whole of Mr Chang’s family our deepest sympathy and condolences on their sad loss.
Mr Chang was indeed a remarkable man who achieved considerable success during his lifetime. Establishing PIL in 1967, he built the company up over the years to reach the world’s top ten ranking in the liner industry.
Mr Chang loved his work and his company and we know that he was attending the office daily up until just recently, a remarkable achievement for someone of 102 years of age.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Chang’s family at this time.
