History

Contship is the combination of the words "CONTAINER" and "SHIPPING". Contship founder, Angelo Ravano started the company with fully containerized ships in 1969, with the slogan “We Bring the Ship to Your Factory”. Contship positioned itself along with other like-minded entrepreneurs at the time of the dawn of containerization as a true pioneer in Italy and Europe.
