Damietta is one of Egypt’s main ports, it’s located near the Nile River and requires minimal deviation from major shipping routes and the Suez Canal.
Damietta Alliance Container Terminals will be able to handle next-generation container ships, with a handling capacity of up to 3.3 million TEU and a quay of over 1600m.
The terminal will utilize high-stacking equipment and highly efficient computer systems, making it highly competitive in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
