La Spezia Container Terminal confirms its commitment to pursuing and maintaining the highest standards of excellence

The Integrated Management System for Quality, Health and Safety at work, and Environment, is confirmed and compliant with international standards ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018

La Spezia Container Terminal has recently obtained the triennial renewal of the Integrated Management System from the LRQA certification body, a global leader in certification issuance.
The audit program involved the verification of all company processes, confirming the adequacy of the management system, compliance with the requirements of the reference standards, identifying strengths, and areas for improvement.
LSCT was among the first companies in the sector to successfully undertake the certification process of the management system, integrating the three aspects of Quality, Health and Safety, and Environment. The Quality certification dates back to 1997, Environment to 2003, Health & Safety to 2009.
“The result emphasizes our constant commitment to ensuring quality, environmental management, health, and safety in all our operations, with an approach focused on continuous improvement. The renewal of certifications also rewards the systematic and rigorous approach that characterizes our work, highlighting the commitment of the entire group to pursue and maintain the highest standards of excellence.” says Ermanno Gianelli, HSE Manager at Contship Italia, “Looking to the future, we aim to extend these certifications to the Group’s companies operating in the intermodal sector, continuing to focus on sustainable growth and creating value for all our customers, partners, and stakeholders.”
