driveMybox grows with Go-trans driveMybox and Go.Trans join forces to bring efficiency, experience and innovation to container transport

MELZO, 29TH june – driveMybox and Go. Trans signed an agreement to merge their businesses within the driveMybox digital platform.

driveMybox, the new born of the Contship Italia Group, is the new company managing container transport by road through digital technology bringing efficiency and transparency in transport management.

Go.Trans is a transport company, established in 1979, which results from the evolution of Gobbi Trasporti, founded in 1947 by Franco Gobbi.

The agreement provides for the gradual integration of Go. Trans’s traditional business within the new digital model of driveMybox, with the aim of sharing Go. Trans’s 40-year experience with the innovative nature of the digital platform.

Go.Trans resources will also join the driveMybox administrative and operational teams, to be able to contribute personally to the success of the new company.

driveMybox keeps its administrative headquarters at the new offices in Melzo (in the province of Milan), located within Rail Hub Milano and in the next future will steady it. The container terminal of Lucernate di Rho (Milan) remains operational and will be an additional support hub for container traffic in transit in Lombardy.

This operation is consistent with driveMybox’s growth strategy: the integration of the network of customers and suppliers and the combination of expertise and know-how of the two companies will increase the value for all our partners and will further enrich the intermodal and container transport logistics service of the Contship Italia Group.
