Oceanogate Italia is the Contship Group’s rail operator, providing reliable, integrated and efficient cargo-train shunting and traction services, ensuring the movement of cargo units via rail in Italy and abroad.

Oceanogate offers a complete range of technical transport solutions tailored to the main industrial, manufacturing, and distribution sectors, based on the client’s needs. To ensure maximum efficiency in its practise, the company invests in the training of its drivers and the renewal of rolling stock. At present, it boasts a fleet of 360 wagons (lowered and 60’90’ trailer door) and 15 interoperable, state-of-the-art locomotives.
