Damietta Alliance

The new container terminal in the port of Damietta in Egypt, Damietta Alliance Container Terminals, will start operations in 2025. Damietta is one of the main ports in Egypt, located close to the River Nile, with minimal deviation from major shipping routes and the Suez Canal.

Damietta Alliance Container Terminals will be able to manage state-of-the-art container ships, with a handling capacity of 3.3 million TEUs and a more than 1600m quay.

In the quay, high-stacking yard equipment will be used, which combined with the use of highly efficient IT systems, will make the Damietta container terminal highly competitive within the Eastern Mediterranean panorama.
