In the evening hours of Thursday November 27, La Spezia Container Terminal greeted the entrance in port of the mv ONE Friendship, marking the first call of the revised MD2 service alongside the Fornelli quay. The Asia Med loop resumes La Spezia in the port rotation, as LSCT is now able to leverage on an additional direct service linking the North Tyrrhenian with key markets in Asia.

Berthing, load and discharge activities, all took place with no delays, completing operations on schedule, and with mv ONE Friendship sailing its eastbound journey back to the Far East. As per tradition, the captain Costel Mircea was presented with a commemorative crest before departure.

The ship, 15.250 TEU in nominal capacity, is amongst the most modern within the service fleet, which also includes units deployed by fellow Premier Alliance partner.
