DriveMyBox takes its expertise across borders: transport for the Cannes Film Festival
The first international assignment for the Contship Group company, supporting one of the most prestigious events in the global film industry.
DriveMyBox, a Contship Group company specializing in container road transport, handled the logistics for the setup of several bistrot and bar stations along the iconic Croisette during the 78th Cannes International Film Festival, held at the end of May at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

Commissioned by a leading international client in the event setup sector, the project marked DriveMyBox’s first operation beyond Italy’s borders, an important milestone that opens the door to new opportunities for collaboration. The assignment involved transporting covered bistrot and bar modules, both for the setup and dismantling phases, with loading and unloading operations primarily carried out at night, in full compliance with the event’s requirements. At the end of the festival, DriveMyBox also managed the return of all materials to Italy.

Logistics and transport are often behind-the-scenes aspects for the general public, yet they play a key role in ensuring the success of major events. With this project, DriveMyBox demonstrated its ability to manage complex operations with precision and reliability in international contexts. The assignment is also a meaningful recognition of the company’s capabilities, highlighting both the technical and organizational expertise of the team and the Contship Group’s ability to provide flexible, tailored logistics solutions.
