LSCT welcomes the YM Wellspring

Another new arrival was greeted at Contship’s La Spezia Container Terminal last week, as one of Yang Ming Line’s newest large containerships, the YM Wellspring berthed in the early hours at Fornelli East.

Measuring in at 366 meters in length, with a nominal capacity of 14,000 TEU, the brand-new ship was launched in February this year and is now deployed in the MD2 service operated by THE Alliance (Yang Ming Line, Ocean Network Express and Hapag-Lloyd) and is one of the three weekly Asia-Med strings connecting La Spezia with the Far East.

Operations were concluded without delay and she departed on schedule the next day.
