Contship Terminal in Ravenna engaged in staff training Terminal Container Ravenna just returned from the “Future Leaders” event organized by The European House – Ambrosetti   Antonio Lombardi, Alessandro Braschi, Inout Duca Rizea and Angelo Dell’Ovo had the chance to participate in a one of a kind experience: three days with Army Special Forces from the 4th Alpini Regiment of “Ranger” Paratroopers. Activities are divided in physical and mind tests toggled with creative teamwork thinking activities, to foster development of interpersonal skills and soft skills that can help personal and professional growth. Open discussion sessions with the Alpini Rangers also helped candidates understand and deepen topics that regard managing unforeseen circumstances, problem solving, negotiation and stress management, with relevant insights that can be transferred to work life. Teamwork is fundamental in a dynamic business – stated Antonio Lombardi, TCR Yard Planner, – as it allows us to reach our goals efficiently. TCR is aware of the importance of the “training & teamwork” combination thus attending the Ranger Bootcamp underlines the will to face our everyday job maximizing all of our resources’ performance .
