New Emilian branch for Contship Group: Hannibal, Oceanogate and RHM are opening new operational offices in Marzaglia Terminal On 14th February our first train from La Spezia Container Terminal to our new branch in Marzaglia departed.   At the moment 3 round trips per week are foreseen with the aim to reach up to 5 round trips per week shortly. The Modenese hub is strategically situated near the railway line Milan-Bologna and near the A1 Highway (3 km from the Modena Nord toll booth). This permits excellent links with the Emilian industrial areas, thus giving our customers more flexibility including and the imminent possibility of moving swap bodies, IMO goods and Fast Corridor containers. Furthermore, the unique position of the Emilian hub will also let us create new railway links on an international scale, through the network synergies at our Melzo hub, and the excellent opportunity to forward goods towards Northern Europe. “Our need to grow on a particularly strategic area, along with our international vision, brought us to choose a terminal which will grant us the necessary support to reach the ambitious aims we have set up for the upcoming months” comments Cristiano Pieragnolo, General Manager at Hannibal Spa.
